You read that right! Today's article is some custom stages based on the various levels on two classic NES games DuckTales, and Darkwing Duck!
For those who don't know, back in the past, Disney hired Capcom to make a game based off of their hit show at the time, DuckTales. In 1989, the game would be released on the NES, with the Game Boy version being released a year later. The game sees Scrooge McDuck traveling to five different worlds to collect five different treasures. Two of the worlds also held a secret hidden treasure that was optional to obtain. The game would later receive an enhanced remake in 2013 titled DuckTales: Remastered.Capcom would later be tasked with making a Darkwing Duck game later on as well, which released on the NES in 1992, with the Game Boy version being released a year later. The game sees Drake Mallard - better known by his hero alias Darkwing Duck - fighting various criminals throughout St. Canard to stop the evil plans of the vile F.O.W.L. organization. While the game never received a remake, one fan made a mod of the game titled Darkwing Duck Advance, which had a brand-new level, restored an unused bonus mini-game, and included a new boss fight. The NES version of both games would also be released in the Disney Afternoon Collection, which released in 2017.
But enough about that. Let's get to the actual stages, shall we?
First up is DuckTales, of course! Each stage was taken from a certain area from the game, and was made to resemble it as close as possible! Of course, some liberties were taken, such as the Moon Stage.
