Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope accidentally revealed ahead of time

Just a couple of hours before Ubisoft are gonna hold their livestream, Nintendo accidentally listed Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope on their website before it's official unveiling, which also revealed that the game is expected to be released sometime in 2022. While Nintendo did eventually take it down, it did reveal a few things about the upcoming game.

Team up with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, and their friends on a galactic journey to defeat a malevolent entity and save your Spark companions. Explore planets throughout the galaxy as you uncover mysterious secrets and compelling quests!

- Build your dream team with three heroes from an eclectic roster of nine.
- Take down all new bosses, along with some familiar enemies throughout the galaxy.
- Rescue the adorable Sparks throughout the galaxy, who provide distinct powers that will help you in battle.
- Unleash your heroes' skills but be strategic as you dash your enemies, team jump on your allies, and hide behind covers.

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope serves as a sequel to 2017's Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Amusingly, Kingdom Battle was also leaked ahead of time. While fans were initially skeptical of the game, opinions slowly turned around as players fell in love with its gameplay.

From what can be glanced from the leaked images, it seems Rosalina may be joining with the heroes for this adventure... or at least, a Rabbid based on her is, as well as a Rabbid Luma. Another Rabbid who has black hair with green streaks in it can be seen posing alongside Mario, Rabbid Peach and Bowser. Who this character could be is currently unknown.

Info about Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is expected to be revealed in Ubisoft's Forward Direct, which will air at 12pm Pacific / 3pm Eastern / 8pm UK / 9pm CEST.
