New animated Pokemon special titled Pokemon Evolutions to air throughout the upcoming weeks!

About a week ago, Pokemon announced that they were planning on releasing a series of shorts titled Pokemon Evolutions. Pokemon Evolutions is planned to have eight episodes, and each other them will focus on one of the eight regions throughout the mainline games.

Similar to 2016's Pokemon Generations, this one focuses more on the game universe, rather then the anime with Ash Ketchum and his buddy Pikachu. (Though it could be possible that their game counterparts, Red and Pikachu, may show up here.) These events will give more details about what went on during those adventures. Additionally, unlike Generations, this series will start with the most recent entry with Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield's Galar region, slowly working its way backwards to Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue's Kanto region.

The second episode focusing on Lillie - and possibly Selena, the protagonist of Sun, Moon and their Ultra versions - should be released in the following week.
