Team up with your friends in Warner Bros.'s MultiVersus!

A few days ago, Warner Bros announced MultiVersus, a free-to-play platform fighting game that stars various Warner Bros. properties duking it out against each other ala Super Smash Bros. and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl.

As stated in the announcement trailer, the focus of the game is teamwork. Each character has a unique ability that can help their teammate in the fight. For example some examples, Batman can drop a smoke-bomb to hide himself and his teammate from the opponent's view, and Bug Bunny can dig a hole that his teammates can use to get around the battlefield. That being said, there are modes dedicated to one-on-one, as well as free-for-all fights. Character profiles on the main website also implies that there will be a story mode, with the heroes - and Harley - heading off to stop a threat only referred to as "The Nothing."

The game currently has 13 playable characters, with more fighters planned to be released later on. Along with recognizable icons like Bugs Bunny and Batman, we also have an original character made for the game named ReinDog, who's homeworld was the first to get attacked by "The Nothing."

Norville "Shaggy" Rogers going Super Saiyan. Yes, you read that correctly.

Perhaps one of the surprising addition is Shaggy. While he has a few elements that are inspired from the Scooby-Doo series - such as pulling out a sandwich to hit foes with - most of his moves appear to be inspired by the "Ultra Instinct Shaggy" internet meme that's been floating around. (And - perhaps to further empathize this, Shaggy's reveal has him easily defeat Superman, as well as enter a Super Saiyan-state like Dragon Ball's main character, Goku.)

Although working together, the cat-n-mouse duo will be fighting each other just as much as they are fighting their foes.

The trailer also reveals that alternate costumes will be in the game, such as Tom & Jerrry dressed as cowboys, or Batman resembling how he looks in 2992's iconic Batman: The Animated Series cartoon show. Voice Acting will be included as well, and many of the characters have their familiar voice actors, like Batman being voiced by Kevin Conroy, or Shaggy being voiced by Matthew Lillard.

MultiVersus is planning to be released sometime next year in 2022 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. You can watch the official trailer here! You can also sign up to be a playtester here at the bottom of the game's official website.

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp delayed for Spring 2022

Unfortunate news for Advance Wars fans who were hoping to get Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp for the upcoming holidays: it appears that the game has been pushed back from December 3rd, 2021, to sometime in spring 2022.

As revealed on Nintendo's official Twitter account, the game needs a bit more fine tuning before it's ready to be released.

For those who don't know, Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is a remake of the original Advance Wars game, as well as it's sequel, both of which were released for the Game Boy Advance in 2001, and 2003 respectively. Players would take control of Andy and his friends as they battled against the Black Hole Army. For more information, check out our original article detailing the game here!

How do you feel about this news? Upset that you'll have to wait a little longer before you can play, or thinking it's for the best so that the game doesn't suffer? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

Pikmin Bloom, now on Android!

From the developers of Pokemon Go, Niantic announced Pikmin Bloom, a cute little game involving you and the adorable little creatures called Pikmin!

After planting a Pikmin seedling in your planter, walk around to make your Pikmin grow. Once you've walked a certain distance, you can pluck the Pikmin out of the planter, and it will join your entourage! Pikmin come in seven variations: fiery Red, shocking Yellow, watery Blue, powerful Purple, poisonous White, flying Pink, and rock hard Stone. You can also give the Pikmin a name if you so desire.

While out on a walk, you can obtain fruits. Using these fruits will allow you to turn the leaf on a Pikmin's head into a flower! Once you have a flower Pikmin, you can then tap on them to gather some of their flower petals! What are they used for?

Well, while you're out walking, you can plant/scatter the flower petals around to grow flowers! Walking through these flower trails will make the Pikmin in your planters grow faster. While out and about, you can also run across a Big Flower, which will only appear if you - and various other players - plant/scatter enough flowers nearby. These Big Flowers help your Pikmin Seedlings grow even more than regular flowers!

You can also send your Pikmin out on expeditions to gather fruit for you, or even try and take down giant mushrooms! Once evening approaches, the Pikmin will come back with what they've obtained. You can then use the fruits and mushrooms to turn them into nectar for your Pikmin.

Sometimes during the Pikmins search, they can come across decor. Giving these to the Pikmin will turn them into Decor Pikmin, allowing them stand out from the others.

Speaking of which, once evening approaches, the game will show you how many steps you've taken for the day, then ask how well your day went. (Smiley Face, Neutral Face, or Crying Face) Additionally, the game will also save whatever photos you've taken during your walking trip, and you're given the option of sending the photos to your friends if you wish.

Pikmin Bloom is available now. In fact, it was released last month on October 26th. Get to walking, Pikmin fans!
